Jenkki xylitol gum by Leaf Co.

Jenkki xylitol chewing gum was introduced to Finnish market in 1951. It has been delivering its "dental freshness" benefits since 1975, when Jenkki launched the world's first xylitol-sweetened chewing gum. Over time it has expanded its product offering by various flavours and packages to attract all ages.

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has given an approval for a health claim "Chewing gum sweetened with xylitol reduces the risk of tooth decay in children".
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recognizes the benefits of xylitol on the oral health of infants, children, adolescents, and persons with special health care needs.  AAP announced new oral health guidelines for pregnant women in 2009. Among them: “Expectant mothers are encouraged to chew xylitol gum (four times a day) as research suggests that chewing this gum may decrease the rate of tooth decay in children“.


Berry powders

Our berries are dried below + 40 C to preserve their full nutritional value. Our products are made only from first class, naturally pure Finnish berries. 100 g of powder contains approximately one kilo of berries. No preservaties or additives. No added sugar. The whole berry is used including the crushed seeds.

Careful drying process

We dry berries with skin and seeds and then grind everything into a powder thus freeing a seed core, which is a well of wholesome ingredients. This means that vitamins and microelements in our powders are better assimilated by the human body. Their concentration in our products is higher than in frozen berries. This has also been proven by laboratory analysis.
